Mitch McConnell came out today saying that there is zero chance that the debt limit doesn’t get raised. The Freedom Caucus will vehemently oppose him on this, so where is he going to get the votes? I’ll tell you where: the Democrats.
I think we need to make our elected Democratic officials aware that THEY MUST NOT HELP THE REPUBLICANS. Not today, not tomorrow and not ever. Sadly, we need to be tribal and stay away from the noble cause of helping the country run smoothly while Trump is at the helm. Until the Republicans hold the Trump administration accountable, they get nothing. We help them when Trump resigns or is impeached and not one second before.
The Democrats did healthcare reform with not a single Republican vote, so why should we help them? They have the House, Senate, and the Presidency. They don’t need or deserve our help. If that sounds unreasonable to you, just think about the sheer terror that we felt when we almost saw the ACA get repealed. He would never help us. Now it’s time to return the favor.
